Windows XP downloaded some automatic updates this week, and has decided that this is the moment it wants to install them. Every 10 minutes this dialog comes back to remind me of that fact.

It doesn’t appear that often since I usually do the updates myself, but today it started appearing at an inconvenient time. On my gaming PC it was even more annoying, popping up in the middle of a World of Warcraft session.

Fortunately Coding Horror had a solution for me.
